In this lesson, students practice developing characters in a story by using character reflection. The students practice including personal character reflections to explain the motivations, actions, and fellings of characters. A video models the thought process writers use to apply the targeted skill and improve their draft. The video prompts students to pause periodically and interact with the items on the Student Practice Sheet.
