Big Ideas: We can use SAS similarity criteria to find missing parts of figures. We can use SSS similarity criteria to find missing parts of figures. The tasks in this lesson require students to use similar triangles to solve for a missing side or angle when it cannot be directly measured. Students will use prior knowledge of similar triangles, using the SAS and/or SSS criteria and proportional sides to solve for the missing side or angle.
