Big Ideas: Coordinate geometry can be used to determine existing properties of a quadrilateral and classify it. In this lesson students will recognize that by determining the distance and slopes of various lines of a quadrilateral, they can classify the shape as a parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square or none of these. Vocabulary: parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square, quadrilateral, distance, slope, parallel, perpendicular
