Big Ideas: Using a sample population is a good idea, but making a prediction based on a sample is not 100% accurate. It is a prediction of what is likely to happen based on observed data. Students will look at a given population (bag of beans) and make predictions based on the given/observed data. Vocabulary: Sample, population, prediction Special Materials: None
