Big Ideas: Given limited information, a sample space is based on ratios with equal parts even when the parts can lead to multiple outcomes when combined. Using selection of an unknown number of mixed number of items, the probability can be found by considering the ratio of those elements that are known. Vocabulary: Unknown, outcome, ratio, proportion Special Materials: Possible simulation with toy spiders and bags.
