Big Ideas: Students will be able to construct perpendicular and angle bisectors. Students will be engaged in a real world task that will involve the use of basic constructions and the constructions of angle bisectors and perpendicular segment bisectors. This lesson should be taught after the Basic Constructions lesson. By completing this lesson, students should develop a deeper understanding of angle relationships, bisectors and perpendicular lines. Vocabulary: bisector, perpendicular Special Materials: Compass, Straightedge, GeoGebra Software (Optional)
