Big Ideas: A commission percentage increases wages proportionally. In this task, students will be applying their percent knowledge to a commission situation in which they must determine an equivalent/better commission rate at their job. They will be given 6 months of sales data and will need to determine their current earnings (including a base pay and a commission rate) and then make decisions regarding a change in earnings criteria. Vocabulary: commission, percent, constant of proportionality, base wage Special Materials: Calculators as necessary
