Big Ideas: Solutions for radical equations can be found analytically by using inverse operations. In this lesson, students will identify the operations contained within a square root equation and use the inverse of each operation to solve the equation. After solving, students will confirm that a value is a solution to the equation by showing that the equation is true for that value.
