Lesson Objective: Practice writing equations and making graphs using equivalent measurements given in inches or feet.
Practicing with known measurement equivalencies helps students to check that the equations and graphs their drawing make sense. They can verify that the lengths match using what they know about the multiplication and division relationships involved in the conversions, as well as the measurements themselves.
