Lesson objective: Find Pythagorean triples and compare side lengths to similar triangles.

This lesson helps to build fluency with application of the converse of the Pythagorean Theorem. This work develops students' understanding that right triangles have an infinte number of similar right triangles.

Students engage in Mathematical Practice 7 (look for and make use of structure) as they recognize the relationship \(a^2 +b^2 = c^2\) in triangles and their similar triangles.
