Lesson objective: Describe objects in our environment using positional words (above, below, beside, etc.)

This lesson helps to build fluency with positional words. This work develops students' understanding that positional words are used to describe objects in our environment. 

Students engage in Mathematical Practice 1 (Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them). Students will use concrete and visual discrimination to describe location of an object. Mathematical Practice 3 (Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others) is also used as students defend their choice by describing the object's location.
