Lesson objective: Practice finding different numbers that can partner to make 10.

This lesson helps to build fluency with finding combinations of 10. Number bonds are used here to support the relationship between the various numbers that can partner to compose 10. This work develops students' understanding that the value of 10 does not change regardless of how it is composed.

Students engage in Mathematical Practice 8 (Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning) as they analyze patterns to find all of the combinations that make 10.
