Lesson objective: Draw a bar graph from a data table and answer comparison questions.
This lesson helps to build fluency with answering comparison questions. A tape diagram is used here because it supports the comparison of the bars on the graph to answer questions. This work develops students' understanding that we can use bar graphs and picture graphs to solve problems.
