Lesson 6: Analyze Repeated Incidents in the Text and Make Inferences about Their Meaning

Students will reread a section of Chapter 4 to examine the way being “released” is portrayed in the text, identify and examine other references to people being “released,” and begin to make inferences about what it might mean and how it is seen in both positive and negative ways.
