Big Ideas: Although there are many different methods to solve right triangle problems, there is a 'best method' based on the information given and the information needing to be found. This lesson allows students to apply their understanding of right triangles and the methods used to solve right triangle problems. This lesson comes at the end of the right triangle unit to allow students to self-assess their understanding of each of the methods and to determine when it is best to use each of the methods learned for solving right triangles. Students will focus on what information is given and what information is needed to help them determine the most efficient problem solving method. Vocabulary: right triangle trigonometry
