Big Ideas: Inverse trigonometric functions allow us to find unknown measures of angles in right triangles. After students have learned the basic trigonometric functions this lesson introduces the idea of the inverse of the functions to find the measures of angles. Students will identify the correct trigonometric function, write the equation to find the angle measure using the inverse, and solve for the angle measure. Vocabulary: inverse, trigonometric functions
