Big Ideas: Right triangle trigonometry can be used to solve angles of elevation and depression problems. This lesson allows students to see the relationship that exists between right triangles inscribed within two parallel lines. Students will have the opportunity to apply various trigonometric functions in relation to the angle of elevation or depression given.
