Lesson objective: Draw two-dimensional shapes using given attributes.

This lesson helps to build procedural skill with drawing two-dimensional shapes. Drawing shapes is used here because it supports students' fine motor skills and understanding of how shapes are composed. This work develops students' understanding that we draw two-dimensional shapes based on attributes.

Students engage in Mathematical Practice 4 (Model with Mathematics) as they find and draw two-dimensional shapes that are in the classroom.
