Lesson 7: Analyzing language to determine different points of view in “Birdfoot’s Grampa”

Students read the poem “Birdfoot’s Grampa” by Joseph Bruchac to a partner to practice fluency and then analyze the language and meaning of the poem. Through class discussion, students also analyze how the language of the poem illustrates differences in point of view.
