In this lesson, students examine the two central moods in "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. In previous lessons, students examined the setting, text structure, and theme of the poem. This lesson provides additional insight into the text that will provide students with the background and knowledge necessary to complete the culminating writing task on day five.
