Lesson 20: Analyze Fitzgerald’s choices in characterization through the presentation of scenes adapted from The Great Gatsby

Students present skits that have been adapted from scenes in chapters 1-4 of The Great Gatsby to highlight the choices Fitzgerald makes when developing characters. Students also discuss what is revealed about each character in the scenes and how these characters help to highlight characteristics of Nick, the narrator.
