The focus of this lesson is on the character of the fox and how his actions contribute to the sequence of events. Students will look closely at specific phrases in order to make a judgment about the fox. The focus question relates to the final writing task because it enables the students to consider the actions and dialogue of the fox when interpreting who the fox is. Special Materials: Students should have access to the following materials for this lesson: - Student guided notes sheet - Copies of the anchor text for all students
