This lesson focuses on finding the shift in point of view, and how this shift impacts meaning of the text. The day begins with students rereading the text and marking it up to identify the point of view used in the text, and to determine where that point of view changes. As students independently return to the text, they will explore text dependent questions. These explorations will be captured on the student guided notes sheet.
