Lesson 20: Analyzing the development of a theme

Students will finish reading the short story, “To Build a Fire” by Jack London, which has similar ideas and themes about human-animal relationships and the wild. In this lesson, they will finish the text and analyze a theme of the text, and how London uses the relationship between the man and dog to develop the theme.
