Students will prepare for a fishbowl discussion to connect ideas across two texts of the unit thus far: Chapter 1 of The Call of the Wild and “The Other Animals.” Students will gather and use text evidence to form claims about whether chapter 1 of The Call of the Wild illustrates or contradicts London’s argument in “The Other Animals.”
