Big Ideas: A whole number is a multiple of its factors. There is an inverse relationship between multiplication and division. In this lesson students will use their understanding of factors and multiples to solve a complex task. They will need to use multiplication and division throughout the task to solve the problem. By the end of the lesson, students should understand how factors and multiples relate to multiplication and division.
