In this lesson, students listen to firsthand accounts from people who survived hurricanes. Students share examples of how oral histories could be useful in their writing.

Additional Notes:

  • Prior to the lesson, decide which oral histories will best meet the needs of your classroom. The lesson calls for five stations in five minute rotations.
