Students organize their research notes onto presentation note cards. Then they help outline what a strong presentation looks and sounds like and practice presenting information about their countries of research.

  • Julian Text Access Document

  • Student notes on Main Idea and Details Chart (completely filled out from the previous lesson)

  • Teacher exemplar main idea and details chart

  • Six index cards for each student

  • Teacher exemplar presentation note cards (blank), which will be filled out during this lesson

  • Chart paper titled “Strong Presentations”; draw a blank T-chart underneath the title; label one side “Look like” and one side “Sound like.”
